The village of Bouillant was united with Crépy in 1828.
All that remains of the church is the nave. Four buttresses support the frontage. The belfry was laterally built alongside the door. The church was restored in 1828. The choir and transepts were demolished during the Revolution.
In the cemetery stands a bronze statue by Bartholomé in memory of his wife, née De Fleury, who was born in Bouillant and died in 1887, at the age of 36. “One can see the sculptor weeping over the body of his young wife. Above the tragic couple, hangs Christ on the cross with arms extended in sanctification, showing such an expression of touching poignancy, that it would be difficult to find a work worthy of comparison”.
Albert Bartholomé (1848-1928) is the sculptor of the war memorial at the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris. He was a friend of the painter Edgar Degas.
